Its focus is to help build a board of directors that represents a wide range of views and interests, ultimately contributing to the strategic direction of .CA and the Canadian Internet.<\/p>\n<p>CIRA is looking for Canadians who:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Understand the experiences of a diverse range of industry sectors,<\/li>\n<li>Have governance experience, and<\/li>\n<li>Are interested in supporting the development of the Internet in Canada<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The deadline to submit applications for the nomination committee is 2 p.m. eastern time, April 11, 2017.<\/p>\n<p>Additional information about the formation of the nomination committee is available on CIRA&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/stg-saas.cira.ca\">website.<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>About the Canadian Internet Registration Authority<\/h2>\n<p>The Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA) manages the .CA top-level domain on behalf of all Canadians.
