Its focus is to help build a board of directors that represents a wide range of views and interests, ultimately contributing to the strategic direction of .CA and the Canadian internet.<\/p>\n<p>CIRA is looking for Canadians who:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Understand the experiences of a diverse range of industry sectors,<\/li>\n<li>Have governance experience,<\/li>\n<li>Have experience identifying and selecting superior candidates; and<\/li>\n<li>Are interested in supporting the development of the internet in Canada<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The deadline to submit applications for the nomination committee is 2 p.m. ET, April 18, 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Additional information about the formation of the nomination committee is available on CIRA&#8217;s <a href=\"\/board-directors-election\">website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>About CIRA<\/h2>\n<p>The Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA) manages the .CA top-level domain on behalf of all Canadians.
